Our manufactured home set up includes, take down, transport and set up on your new site.
Berwick’s Mobile Home Services inspect both the pick up and delivery sites checking for trees, fences, gates, low hanging wires, steep hills, narrow driveways, dirt roads, and anything else that may block your move. We also inspect your home and see if the axles and tires are attached, we check to see if your tow bars are there. Plus we inspect your decks, awnings, and any possible added on rooms or expandos.
Once we have seen the job, we then give the customer a true estimate. At this point, there are no hidden fees!
Mobile and manufactured home transport in Washington State requires permits.
Berwick’s Mobile Home Services takes care of disconnecting utilities, removing skirting, decks and awnings, installing the tongue, installing axles & tires and removing supports from underneath home. If your home is a double or triple wide, we provide special equipment to safely separate your house into two or three sections. We then wrap each section with a 6 mil weather proof plastic for transport.
Berwick’s Mobile Home Services moves your home with state of the art trucks designed specifically to transport manufactured / mobile homes. Our route is predetermined according to the width, length and height of your home. In some cases, a pilot car escort may be required.
Berwick’s Mobile Home Services set up process consists of blocking and leveling the home, bolting the floor and roof together, installing a ridge cap on the roof as well as hooking up the water & the sewer and standing inspection.
